About HCC

HCC Mission: Implementing and maintaining fair and sound governance within the Horizen ecosystem. Horizen Community Council (HCC) serves as a bridge among the global Horizen community, the Horizen Foundation, and other participants in the Horizen ecosystem. HCC is an important step in Horizen’s roadmap to DAO and commitment to a fully decentralized and sustainable governance.

What Does HCC Do?

HCC addresses governance issues, organizes community evaluation of Horizen Improvement Proposals (ZenIP), and other topics of interest.

HCC enhances community-conscious decisions by enabling greater involvement of the community in collaborative leadership of the Horizen ecosystem.

During its initial phase, HCC focuses on establishing protocols and best practices to ensure the governance of the Horizen ecosystem is sound.

Key Components

HCC Members are active community participants who have decided to help us make Horizen a better, stronger ecosystem.

As HCC develops, HCC Members will be provided aditional opportunities to add value.

Advisory Board

The HCC Advisory Board’s job is to consider proposals from CIGs and coordinate with the Horizen Foundation to facilitate community-conscious communication and decisions.
