HCC Mission: Implementing and maintaining fair and sound governance within the Horizen ecosystem. Horizen Community Council (HCC) serves as a bridge among the global Horizen community, the Zen Blockchain Foundation (ZBF), and other participants in the Horizen ecosystem. HCC is an important step in Horizen’s roadmap to DAO and commitment to a fully decentralized and sustainable governance.
HCC addresses governance issues, organizes community evaluation of Horizen Improvement Proposals (ZenIP), and other topics of interest.
HCC enhances community-conscious decisions by enabling greater involvement of the community in collaborative leadership of the Horizen ecosystem.
During its initial phase, HCC focuses on establishing protocols and best practices to ensure the governance of the Horizen ecosystem is sound.
The HCC Advisory Board’s job is to consider proposals from CIGs and coordinate with the Zen Blockchain Foundation to facilitate community-conscious communication and decisions.
